We have just finished the 2nd quarter for most of us in business and some of you may have done what they call a semi – inventory count (A six month). In this series we talk about a monthly count, but all will work no matter how often you do a count. Some, such as factories, do a count once a year due to having to stop operations completely for an accurate count.
But there seems to be a misconception as to who should be doing a inventory count. No matter what business you are in, if you are dealing with a customer, online or off, or plan to and working towards that end, in any capacity whatsoever, then you should be doing an inventory count. Even if it is just you working your business. Even if you have not had a sale yet, you should be doing a inventory count.
